unless that animal is totally unadoptable or is ill and can not be saved,
Or is in poor health and the decision is made to end their suffering.

more time to be seen and adopted out to a forever home. Most animal control
Facilities only allow reclaims for 7 days and Stray adoptions for 5 days.
